Raised in Southeastern Pennsylvania, Amy was graduated from Lenoir- Rhyne University in Hickory, North Carolina in 1979 with her Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing. Her registered nursing career consisted mostly of women’s health and pediatrics as well as general medicine. After 15 years spent practicing as a nurse, Amy returned to school for her Master’s Degree in Nursing at the University of Texas at El Paso, graduating in 1996 with her Family Nurse Practitioner Certificate. Amy is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Amy has lived and practiced in the Klamath Basin for nearly 15 years and enjoys the wonderful outdoor activities that abound in Oregon. In her spare time, Amy will be found hiking, biking, skiing, swimming or gardening. She is also very active with St Paul’s Episcopal Church in Klamath Falls, Oregon.
